Fighting Back Against ALEC's Attacks on Workers

Speaker: Brendan Fischer, General Counsel

Center for Media & Democracy

The Center for Media & Democracy conducts original investigations and reports on national issues, including ongoing efforts by the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) to destroy collective bargaining rights. Brendan's work includes ongoing investigation, monitoring and exposure of ALEC's efforts to pass right-to-work-for-less legislation, repeal prevailing wage laws, preempt local minimum wage and paid sick day ordinances, and other efforts attacking organized labor and the rights of working people. Brendan is a former Peace Corps Volunteer and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Breakfast is free to L&EC dues paying members, and $30 for non members.
